English May Be Your First Language, But it’s Not Everybody’s: Listening Tips

I know we talk about listening often on The Communicative Leader.

Well, most of us really struggle with this one. We don’t necessarily struggle all of the time, but most of the time we really could be better listeners.

I am in this boat with you, my friends. Active listening asks a lot of us.

Though the reward is worth it.

  2. Be Present

  3. Put Yourself in Their Shoes

  4. Stay Curious

We dive into these best practices and more in greater detail in this episode of The Communicative Leader:

Until next time, communicate with purpose and
